Terry offers fine Navajo and Pueblo contemporary and historic weavings and rugs from many regions including, Ganado, Crystal, Two Grey Hills, Teec Nos Pos, Red Mesa, Raised Outline, Wide Ruins and Burntwater, as well as pictorial, Yei, Yei-Be-Chai, and Sandpainting examples. He also carries Classic, Late Classic, Germantown and Transitional Navajo textiles.

Terry offers a wide selection of contemporary, historic, antique & vintage Native American baskets with figural & geometric designs from many tribes including: Pima, Apache, Papago, Hopi, Yavapai, Havasupai, Chemehuevi, Mission, Yokut, Chumash, Pomo, Maidu, Shasta, Pitt River, Hupa, Yurok, Karok, Tlingit, Nootka, Makah, Panamint, Klamath, Modoc, Miwok, Washoe, Navajo, Shoshone, Kawaiisu and Tubatulabal in olla, plate, tray, bowl and degikup forms.

Meet Terry

Terry DeWald has been a prominent dealer and author in American Indian art since 1970. He specializes in Navajo weaving, both contemporary and vintage, as well as Native American basketry spanning the Southwest, California, Great Basin, and Northwest Coast.

He is still an active trader buying regularly from artists spanning numerous tribes in the West and supplying many of the national parks, galleries, and museums stores nationwide as a wholesaler.

Terry has been a judge at The Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair and Market, Santa Fe Indian Market, and The Arizona State Museum Southwest Indian Art Fair, and continues to lecture and appraise throughout the country.
